Sincerity great medicine

Sincerity is a great medicine to work: One can go a long way if one does anything with sincerity. The rich people are sincere to their work and so they are capable of making anything a success. The great men are also sincere because they know the sincerity is the key-stone to success.
Those who do not follow the rules of sincerity can never go a long way in the world. The poor people are not sometimes sincere and so they lag behind. If they can know the benefit of sincerity, they will make a good use of its. Sincerity is the tonic to any work because it helps the work to be done properly. If any work is not done properly, one will never get good output from it.
So, we should be sincere in every walk of our life. Sincerity does not mean only to any work properly. It also means dutfulness, honesty, modesty, and well-behaviour. The people of our country are not still aware of the importance of sincerity. As a result, they do not do their work properly and it dose not give good output to them.
They are becoming spiritless observing their poor output. They blame their lot but do not think that they are not sincere to their work.It is we who are responsible for our poor condition. If we are aware of this fact, we can easily be sincere to our work and other things.

students examination papers

Most of our students cannot write out their examination papers fairly. As they cannot understand the questions properly, they often beat about the bush and cram their answers with irrelevant and unnecessary details. Sometimes they also fail to arrange their answer neatly , cleanly and systematically. Although the teachers suggest that their answers should be brief and precise, they often lengthen them unnecessarily where size does not matter at all. They have a silly notion that the more they write the more they will get marks. The reality is just the opposite, their long answers generally become disgusting and unnecessary which always earn poor marks.

In order to get expected marks, what you all should do is to understand the questions well and answer them just to the point. Don’t worry, if your answers are fairly short. Be sure that your sentences make sense. Above all, you need a neat presentation. To answer the short comprehension questions, you should not copy anything blindly from the passage. Try to answer the questions more or lessen your own English. Frame your answers exactly in the same tense as on the questions are in. Don’t forget to write short and simple sentences. Plain and clear English is not bad.

Most of our students are not able to write answers properly due to lack of understanding. Besides, they fail to arrange their answers neatly, clearly and systematically. Even often their answers are not brief and precise. So, to do well in the exams. Students should write answers in their own words briefly and to the point. The tenses of the answers should be the same as that of the question.

Illiteracy problem in Bangladesh

Illiteracy is a great problem in Bangladesh: Most of our people cannot read or write. So, the literacy rate in Bangladesh is too poor. It is to poor to imagine. This problem generates many other problems. There are many reasons behind this problem. Firstly, we can mention poverty. Majority of our people live below the poverty line. They cannot manage three meals a day. It seems really tough for them to send their children to schools.

There are a lot of children who are dropped out even at their early age from schools. At the very little age the children go out of their home in search of work. Now some steps have been taken by the government to solve the problem. Free primary education has been offered. Moreover, female education remains free up to secondary level.

Lack of social awareness is another problem for illiteracy. Most of the guardians are not aware of their Children’s education. At present different programmers have been taken to raise the awareness of the guardians regarding the schooling of their children. In fact every mother should be careful about her child’s education. Thirdly in rural areas girls are forbidden to go to school.

Finally, in some remote places communication system is not up to the mark. Here it remains tough for the children to go to school. To solve this illiteracy problem of our country we need to work together in sorting out the above mentioned reasons carefully. If it is possible to overcome these reasons, we can easily find an educated society in near future. Only then it can be possible on our part to face other problems creating from illiteracy.

Examination Tips Article

Education makes a man perfect: It awakes the latent talent ofa person. It also makes the way of his life easier. So, education is inevitable in our life. And we get the perfect evaluation of education through examinations. Without examinations, education cannot get repleteness.
Now I am to tell how far I have prepared myself for the coming S.S.C examination. Our exam is now knocking at the door. It is going to be held within two months. I have always been standing first in our school exams. Our teachers are very hopeful of me. They do expect a good result from me which will also add to the reputation of our school. They want me to secure A+ grade in the Board exam. But I am not sure whether I will be able to accomplish their desire. That is because I was very sick for two months and therefore, I could neither attend my classes nor study at all. Besides, I could not read with any teacher to improve my condition because of poverty.
According to me, my preparation is quite satisfactory almost in all subjects except one or two. I have good preparation in Bengali, computer science, social science and religion. I was weak in mathematics. But now I have made a better progress in this subject. I have also prepared myself excellently in Chemistry and Biology. I hope to have A+ grade in these stated subjects.
It is a matter of distress that I could not take good preparation yet in Physics and English. The reason is that we needed more classes in these two subjects but in reality, the number of classes was less in proportion to our need. On the other hand, our institution remained closed for a number of days on account of several national holidays including the common affair-hortal.
Though I am weak, I am getting out of this stage by the timely attention and proper care of my teachers. They are trying their best to make us fit for the examination. They are friendly and helpful to us. They inspire and teach us in such way that we can find our subjects interesting.
Ultimately, I am about to progress my condition and make it stronger by studying attentively and spontaneously. I believe, I will do better in the ensuing examination and will be able to implement the dream of my teachers and parents.

‘Titanic’ American Movies

In 1912 an American shipping company launched a new ship called ‘Titanic.’ It was the largest and most luxurious ocean liner of the tine. It weighed 46,000tons and could carry about 2,200 passengers. Experts said that nothing could make it sink. It was definitely unsinkable. On April 10, 1912, the ship sailed on its first voyage across the Atlantic from Southampton in England to New York in the United States, with 2,224 passengers; men, women and children. On April 15, just before midnight, the ship struck an ice-berg. The ice-berg tore a great hole in the ship’s side and the unsinkable ‘Titanic’ began to sink. The tragic sinking of this great liner will always be remembered, for she went down on her first voyage with heavy loss of life.
There was a great alarm on board. Warning bells rang out. Everyone rushed to the life boats, but there was not enough room for them all. There was room for only 1,178 passengers. The life-boats took mostly the woman and children. It was a terrible scene. Wives were weeping because they had to leave their husbands to drown. Children were crying because they had to say good-bye to their fathers. The men had to remain on the ship; The “Titanic” sent out signals for help, but no help came. Another ship the ‘Californian’ was only twenty miles away, but her radio operator was asleep and did not hear the distressing signals.
In the early hours of the morning the ‘Titanic’ sand, while her band was playing bravely in deck. Twenty minutes later another liner, the ‘Carpathia’ arrived on the scene and helped to rescue survivors from the icy water. But of the 2,224 passengers, only about 700 survived.
It was a terrible disaster. But something good came out of the sinking of the ‘Titanic’. In 1913 there was a committee of inquiry into the disaster. This committee drew up many new rules for shipping companies. Since then, every ship has had to provide life-boat places for each passenger and has had to organize life-boat drill during each voyage. Every ship has had to carry enough radio operators so that is always one of them on duty. Another important result of the sinking of the ‘Titanic’ was the formation of an international Ice Patrol. This patrol warns ships about ice and ice-bergs in the North Atlantic.

The Titanic was the largest and most luxurious ocean ship. Once the ship struck an ice-berg and began to sink. Among the 2,224 passengers, only 700 were alive. Something good came out of the sinking of the ‘Titanic’. A new committee of inquiry was made and drew up many new rules for shipping companies.

Olympic Games

The Greeks had strong religious beliefs. Their gods were the source of all power. They felt they could honour their gods by imitating them. So the Greeks tried to be the best in thinking, arts and games, and their culture was known as the ‘Golden Age’ or the ‘Classical Age’ of Greece.
The Greeks built temples in honour of their gods. Each temple, which had no roof, contained a statue of a god. In front of the statue was an altar where they worshipped. The Greeks also had different kinds of festivals in honour of their gods. Two important events of the festivals were the Olympic Games and the theatre. These contributed greatly to the international culture.
Every four years in the middle of summer, a festival was held in Olympia to honour Zeus, king of the gods. The festival was known as the Olympic Games. It was the most important sporting event in Greece. During the games, all wars were stopped. Athletes from all over Greece and from the Greek colonies took part in the games. Only male athletes took part. Women were not even allowed to watch. The Olympics consisted of many events. One of the most exciting events was the chariot race. The chariots, which were pulled by horses, had small wheels and were open in the back. The owner of the winning chariot received a crown made from olive leaves.
The modern Olympic Games are based on the original Olympics held in ancient Greece. Nowadays, Olympic athletes come from different countries of the world and compete in a variety of sports. One sport popular in both the ancient and modern Olympic Games, is the discus throw. Olympic winners were considered heroes. Poets wrote about them. City-states held parades for them. Some city-states even provided them with free meals for a year. The first Olympic Games in Greek history were held in 776BC.
